🏆 2026 CLT DANCE FESTIVAL WINNERS! 🏆

What an incredible achievement for our students at this year’s CLT Dance Festival!

Students were given the theme ‘Ambition’ and had just one day to work together to create, rehearse and perform their own dance piece.

For many of our students, this was their first ever experience of dance, making what happened next even more special… they only went and WON! 🥇👏

Miss Pollard and Miss Walls are incredibly proud of the way they threw themselves into the challenge, stepped completely outside their comfort zones and supported one another throughout the day.

A brilliant example of what can happen when our students are ambitious, brave and willing to give something new a go. 💫

What an amazing evening taking our students to the National Theatre to see The Story this week!

As always, the students were absolutely amazing and represented Kempston Academy brilliantly. It was fantastic for them to experience live theatre in such an iconic venue and see professional performers in action.

To make the evening even more special, we even got the chance to meet some of the incredibly talented cast after the show! 🌟

What a week for Performing Arts! 🎭✨

Last night, Miss Walls was invited to speak at the Connolly Foundation’s first annual Gala Evening. Some of our cheerleaders also attended, sharing how the Foundation’s generous support has made such a difference to our team through funding new cheer mats and uniforms. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the incredible work the Connolly Foundation does and the opportunities it creates for young people—we were so proud to be part of it!

The talent didn't stop there! Last week Isla performed at the Kempston and Bedford Excellence Evening, taking the stage completely by herself and wowing everyone in attendance with her incredible talent. 🌟

Want to see more from our Performing Arts department? Come and see us tonight at Open Evening!
