Before I took this picture of Daniel he innocently said
“I’m not going to a princess party mummy. Princesses are for girls.”

Yes, he may of been the only boy there which at first he hated 😋 but that didn’t stop him from fully joining in and he ended up loving the party. And he’s since met many a princess thanks to the lovely 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 ✨

Him saying that did get me thinking though, just how early our children begin to absorb messages about what they’re “supposed” to like.

What if we could change that?

What if instead we raised our children in a world where boys could happily go to princess parties, girls could be just as excited about dinosaur parties, and no one ever question it? What a truly magical world that would be

Imagine if our children were simply encouraged to enjoy what makes them smile, without worrying whether it’s “for boys” or “for girls.”

Princesses can be brave 💪
Dinosaurs can be fascinating 🧐
Superheroes can be kind 😍
Fairies can be adventurous 🧝‍♀️

As parents, we have the chance to show our children that kindness, confidence, creativity and fun doesn’t have a label because childhood should be about making memories, not fitting into stereotypes. 🧡

Let’s raise a generation who feel free to explore, play and celebrate whatever brings them joy.
