Today we are celebrating our best ever set of exam results!
We are so proud of the Class of 2026, and the way they conducted themselves throughout their time with us. They've done brilliantly, and are now off to a wide range of places, including some of the country's top universities and employers.

We have over 100 Year 12s on our "Kimberley Early Entry Programme" - preparing for applications to Oxbridge & other top universities.
As part of this we get guest speakers in for Q&As, and last week we were chuffed to have Baroness Amanda Spielman visit. She spoke about her varied career, how she came to be Chair at Ofqual and HMCI at Ofsted, and now a member of the House of Lords!
Lots of fantastic questions from students, and in-depth answers from Amanda!

A great story celebrating local heritage and one we are proud to have been part of!
Students from our college recently took part in a competition with London Northwestern Railway to help name a train running between Bedford and Bletchley. The winning name, “Brickfield Breeze”, was chosen to reflect Bedford’s rich brickmaking history.
The area was once home to one of the world’s largest brickworks, producing millions of bricks each year and playing a huge role in shaping the local community.
It’s fantastic to see our students contributing to something that recognises local history while being part of the region’s future transport network.
Well done to everyone involved, a brilliant achievement and a lasting legacy! 🚆

Our Year 12 students from Kimberley 6th Form College took part in the Aveva Challenge in Cambridge this week.
The event, organised by Aveva and supported by Villiers Park Educational Trust, encouraged students to explore how technology can be used to promote sustainability in local communities.
We are really pleased to share that Kimberley students achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as judged by the expert panel.
Well done to everyone involved - a fantastic achievement!

We were delighted to welcome UCAS to Kimberley STEM College today, where they visited to film a case study showcasing the fantastic work happening across our college.
As part of the visit, filming captured our students in action, highlighting the practical skills and real-world experience our learners gain every day.
It was a great opportunity to shine a light on the dedication of our students and staff, and we’re excited to see the finished case study featured on the UCAS website.
A big thank you to UCAS for visiting and to everyone involved for making the day such a success!

Yesterday we welcomed back three alumni for our first ever "Kimberley Calling" session. Over forty of our students were in attendance to learn more about politics and policy development, how it actually works, and the various ways people can get involved in these.
Between them Joel, Rosie and Will have huge amounts of experience working with politicians and policy experts, in Westminster, Europe and globally. They've done everything from delivering leaflets to running MPs' offices, developing pandemic vaccine policy to international aid coordination, plus running for public office too!
It was an incredible experience for everyone, and marked the start of this year's wider guest speaker series - watch this space for the next one. We have someone very well known visiting Wootton Upper School & Kimberley in a few weeks' time...
