Your Child’s Safety is Our Priority
We know how worrying severe allergies can be for families.
That’s why at Putnoe Primary School, we’ve taken extra steps to make sure we’re prepared to keep every child safe.
All of our school staff are completing Epipen and anaphylaxis training, giving them the skills and confidence to act quickly in an emergency.
With the help of Kitt Medical, we now have Epipens onsite and ready to use if a child experiences an anaphylactic episode.
This means:
✅ Staff can recognise the signs of an allergic reaction early
✅ Adrenaline auto-injectors are on hand for immediate use
✅ Children with allergies are safer at school
✅ Parents can feel reassured knowing we’re ready to respond
At Putnoe Primary School, we’re committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where all children can learn and thrive. 🌟

We were so proud to receive praise from the Chief Education Officer this week. This is in recognition of the fantastic outcomes achieved at the end of the last school year. Please see the extract below:
"I wanted to take the time to formally congratulate you on the year 6 pupil outcomes. I am delighted to see how well you and staff have supported pupils in achieving these good outcomes and I recognise that this has required a great deal of hard work...I am sure you have learned many lessons along the way, which the Borough and other local schools could benefit from, and we would be keen to learn more about the key initiatives that you feel have made the difference at your school."
Chris Morris
Chief Education Officer for Education, SEND and School Infrastucture
Thank you to all our pupils, staff and families for making Putnoe Primary School the inspiring and supportive place that it is.
