From Turkmenistan to Cranfield, Aknur's journey reflects her passion for logistics, international trade and regional connectivity.

A Chevening scholar and Certified Customs Specialist, Aknur studied the Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc, building on a career spanning sales, marketing, procurement and export development.

At Cranfield, she developed her expertise, broadened her perspective and strengthened the knowledge and connections to help shape what comes next in her field.

👋 A warm welcome to our new students at the Defence Academy of the UK in Shrivenham from our Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Karen Holford alongside Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Professor Mark Westwood

🙌 A week of global learning as we hosted 21 EMBA students from 11 business schools across 10 countries for EMBA Consortium International Week 2026

✈️ YouTuber Tom Scott took to the skies aboard the National Flying Laboratory Centre (NFLC) for a unique flight featured in his ENGLAND content series

🌟 Brilliant results in the latest rankings! Cranfield School of Management achieved strong results in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026,

and across six programmes in the latest QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2027

🚗 Babcock International Group visited campus to explore our specialist facilities and off-road dynamics testing capabilities. Their Babcock General Logistics Vehicle (GLV) was put through its paces on our off-road track, a modern vehicle designed to replace the British Army’s legacy Land Rover fleet

Today, she’s a Technical Lead at Rolls-Royce, using her expertise to tackle complex engineering challenges.
