Sound Investment was founded in 1987 by the late Jayne Badenoch (1953 - 2019), who put her heart and soul into making Sound Investment the success that it is. Her passion was to teach and inspire adults and children, many with learning disabilities, the art of music, theatre and performance.

Sound Investment was an inclusive community project which focused primarily around preparing for and showcasing an annual musical, along with appearances at local community events. Jayne directed and produced the shows as well as wrote and performed all of her own original music.

Sadly, in February 2019, Jayne passed away due to a short but brave battle with cancer. However, her legacy lives on! We are so pleased that we are able to relaunch this wonderful project and hope to inspire as many people as we can within our local community, just like she did, to get into music and truly discover its potential as a wellbeing tool, no matter your age, background or circumstances.

Hello everyone! My name is Ant, founder of the Sound Investment music tuition programme. My goal is to inspire and teach music to people of all ages and backgrounds, for fun and to promote music as a positive wellbeing tool.

I aim to do this by offering one to one lessons, using my unique and personalised programme that will ensure, no matter how you learn, that you will be able to pick up an instrument and play!
We are only just getting started and are currently looking for any budding musicians who would be interested in learning how to play the guitar, keyboard or ukulele.

In the future, I hope to use our programme, my skills and expertise to create other opportunities for children with SEND.
