We are devasted to hear that one of our ex-students has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment in Germany.
Family and friends have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to cover the costs of treatment and would be grateful for any contributions from our school community.

Today we celebrated the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough, after whom our Attenborough House is proudly named. π₯³
To mark this special occasion, Mr Paolini and Mr Stokes, Heads of Attenborough House, organised their fundraising week to coincide with Sir Davidβs milestone birthday. Staff and students have been raising money for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) through sales of badges made by Mr Snape, bracelets, and raffle tickets for an Attenborough-themed hamper.
Funds have also been raised through competitions such as Top Baller and a FIFA tournament, alongside activities including a movie night, βGuess the Sweets in the Jarβ, Wear it Green Day, and even Mr Paolini getting his legs waxed!
In addition, a letter was sent to Sir David Attenborough himself, wishing him a happy 100th birthday and thanking him for his lifetime of work inspiring people to care for the natural world.
We are also excited to announce the renaming of the Science environmental area to the Attenborough Wildlife Area. Plans are already underway to redevelop the space into a more sustainable learning environment that can be used for Science lessons while also giving students opportunities to learn more about conservation and sustainability.
If anyone in the local community/local businesses would be willing to support this project by donating resources or providing labour please do get in touch via [email protected]
Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough! π₯³
