✨It’s the end of a busy and satisfying working week. I am smiling to myself thinking about a great one-to-one session with my coachee where I shared this quote ⬆️

📈During our 90 min session, we covered all things career progression, ✔️the fantastic work that’s being led by Lucy Brazier and Helen Monument with The World Administrators Alliance and Global Skills Matrix, ✔️how to set goals and outcomes with a high success rate by using ✔️motivational language, ✔️positive mindset and ✔️the power of creative visualisation...

✔️We chatted about how easy it is to relax into doing things the way you’ve always done them, that there’s comfort in knowing the existing process and result and how important it is to regularly review working practices so you’re on that continual improvement path...

A thought-providing message from our Co-Founder & Director Lindsay

When I was 9 or 10 my Great Auntie Den, rather eccentric in her twilight year, said something to me that I didn't understand...

"My dear. Time goes quicker as you get older"

"Uh?" I thought.

Now.

Here I am aspiring to eccentric twilight years and living Great Auntie Den's sentiments!

This memory and wording was my opening remark for East of England Assistants Conference 2026 last week when I had the delight to invite attendees to Conduct a Personal SWOT.

Attendees were able to "pause time" and spend some quality thinking time investing on themselves with this hugely beneficial exercise.

Because we're so busy being busy and many of us are living Great Auntie Den's sentiments aren't we?!
