Little Seedlings Childminding

Thank you everyone who came to our Bedtime Stories session for The Makaton Charity tonight. One of the stories we did was We’re Going on a Bear Hunt - but have you also seen #MCGrammar reading stories? Had to sign his version of the book! Why not have a go for #WorldBookDay

Wow ! Not often I'm lost for words but today , words cannot describe how special , loved and appreciated I feel 🥰
Being surprised by lovely parents I worked for to say thank you with party , great food, presents and cards full of beautiful messeges I will treasure forever :)

Back in May we read lovely little book "Planting the Rainbow " and children have asked if we could do that too.. so off we went to the local garden centre . Since then every day children watered our plants and watched it grow :)
It truly is a rainbow now:)

We absolutely love to visit Marston Forest Centre with our friends :) On this occasion we went on nature colour hunt followed by bug hunt :)

Last year we made yummy dandelion biscuits.. This year while searching for recipe I came across dandelion honey 🍯
While on the lovely walk we found a field full of them so we could pick lots of flowers and still leave enough for bees 🐝 🙂
Children loved picking them and even more tasting it after on the toasted bagel.
My own children loved it so much we had to make another batch 😆

What an absolutely amazing experience this was :) We have had pleasure of looking after 5 beautiful ducklings for 10 days.
We watched them hatch and change in matter of days :)
Children picked beautiful names : Tony, Lemon, Betsy, Dilly, Woddle.
We have not only learned about life cycle of ducks but also how to take care of them.
Children were very gentle and took great care of our babies.
One of favourite moments for us was to watch them swim 🥰
We were sad to see them go , but we spoke about beautiful farm they going to and how much space and freedom they will have in there :) Everytime we sing "5 little ducks" I think of our little friends ❤

We have had busy and beautiful start to Spring.

Back in August I have had my first Ofsted inspection and was rated a Good.
I'm pleased with the feedback given and even more with feedback from parents :)

Although I'm not their mother however I care for them each day

I cuddle, sing, and read to them and watch them as they play

I see each new accomplishment and help them grow and learn
I understand their language and I listen with concern

They come to me for comfort and I kiss away their tears

They proudly show their work to me in which I give the loudest cheers

I know that i'm not their mother but my role is just as strong

I nurture them and keep them safe though maybe not for long

I knew someday the time will come when we will have to part.

We are all sorry you are leaving and so sad to see you go

When you feel like visiting then we're always here you know.
