Always lovely to receive thanks from students and their parents. I’ve been teaching Tom since he was in year 4, and now he’s moving into year 11 in September - how time flies!
Wishing you all the best in the future Tom, and a million thanks to his parents for their support and encouragement over the years. It’s been a pleasure teaching you ❤️

3 short clips of pieces from the Trinity classical guitar grade 4 syllabus.

Congratulations 👏 I am delighted to say that James and Oscar have passed their grade 4 exams both with merits! James took Trinity classical guitar grade 4, and Oscar took LCM Acoustic guitar grade 4.
I wanted to upload short clips of both, but fb has decided otherwise, so here are pics instead, videos to follow later maybe.

These were both digital recorded exams, a way of taking exams introduced during covid. It’s less stressful for students as everything is recorded in their lesson environment. Quite stressful for me though as each exam board has its own different list of requirements for the recording including introductions, books being in view, student sitting positions all of which is my responsibility to get right. 🙂

Something a little different! This was recorded for our teaching business website The Asgard Studio 🙂
I teach guitar and bass, my other half Grayson White teaches tenor and alto sax.

This is one of my pupils, Tracy has be playing since lock down where she started with on line lessons......

I’m not one to advertise products, but these do make me chuckle. I need one for the studio, but those I like most are not child suitable! 😂

Update: NOW SOLD 🙂
Hi all, I have a student selling their old guitar, it’s a Yamaha F-310 acoustic, plays nicely, couple of cosmetic chips on the front and around the edges, nothing significant. Comes with a soft case. Looking for £75.00. Message if you are interested or share on/tag if you know anyone it might suit. 🙂
