Our Bee Orchids are flourishing on our pavilion field, what a joy to see!🥰

Our smaller seeds at Wilden have been in touch with nature this week!. Today we enjoyed a wonderful visit from a Beekeeper! We learnt all about the Queen bee, bee varieties and how precious they are. We also got to taste some delicious raw honey! One of our parents also generously gave up some of her time to show us her week old chicks! They were absolutely adorable!

A busy Friday afternoon at Wilden today with lots of active children! We have 2 clubs happening, Bollywood dance and Multi Sports which today is Archery! There's already been a few bullseye's!

May Day is nearly upon us, the children having been practising their dancing, and bouncy castle and coffee bar have been booked! Come along on Monday for some traditional dancing, ice cream, pimms, burgers and games with our local scouts. Open 11am-1pm with dancing after 12. We look forward to welcoming back Humble Home Gifts & Furniture, Bux Kitchen

It's a perfect weekend to get our garden sorted! We'd welcome any support at 1.30 - 3.30 tomorrow (Sunday) to get some planting done, and we'd also welcome any expert gardening advice, it transpires that neither myself or the PTA have much garden knowledge!

Our Bollywood afterschool dance club is well underway and the children are having a fantastic time!

Exciting day today, primary school reception places are announced to parents 😁 If you are lucky enough to receive a place at Wilden, feel free to comment below to introduce yourselves! We look forward to seeing you all and hopefully will see you at our May Day celebrations!

Green fingered volunteers are needed!
You may have noticed our garden is slowly beginning to take shape! However, we would love to get it looking more presentable ready for our May day celebrations.
If you are able to donate a couple of your hours on Sunday 26th April at 1.30pm, please join myself and the PTA in helping us bring our garden alive!
Any donation of seeds, plants, bulbs or compost would be gratefully received too!

🌞Come and join us at Wilden Primary School for a joyful celebration of the wonderful tradition of May Day dancing!

Our children will be performing their Maypole dances at 12 noon on Monday 4th May — a highlight not to be missed.

We’ll be open from 11am to 1pm, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy everything on offer:

🛍️ Shopping and bric-a-brac stalls
🍔 Delicious hot food
🍹 Refreshing Pimms
🎯 Fun activities including axe throwing and games run by our fantastic local Scout Group from Great Barford and Colmworth
