🤩 Jungle Gym Adventures! 🧗

Dragonflies had the best time putting themselves to the test on the jungle gym!

The children climbed, balanced and navigated their way around the equipment, encouraging each other and growing in confidence as they challenged themselves to go that little bit further. 💪

But it wasn’t just for climbing! Before long, the jungle gym had been transformed into Elsa’s castle, a spaceship and even a boat as the children brought their own ideas into the play. 🚀🏰⛵

A brilliant mix of physical challenge, teamwork and imagination – and definitely a few tired legs by the end! 💛

Graduation was never going to fit into just one post… ❤️

We couldn’t finish celebrating our amazing Class of 2026 without sharing one final highlight from their special day!

Our exotic animal experience was such a big hit! The children had the opportunity to meet, stroke and even hold a range of incredible animals, learning lots of fascinating facts along the way. 🦎🐍🐢

A brilliant way to round off such a memorable day and celebrate an amazing group of children before they head off on their next adventure. 🎓💛

✨🎓 Graduation 2026 🎓✨

Every year, Graduation is one of the happiest... and most emotional... days in our calendar. 💛

On Saturday, we celebrated our wonderful preschoolers as they got ready to begin their next big adventure... Big School! 📚✨

Over the past few years, we’ve watched them grow into confident, independent and caring children. It’s been wonderful to see each of their personalities develop, and while we’ll all miss them, we’re excited to see them begin this next chapter at school. 🌟

It was so special for the children to have not only their Dragonflies teachers celebrating with them, but also familiar faces from our Butterflies and Bumblebees teams.

Many of these teachers have known the children since they first joined the nursery, watching some of them take their first steps, say their first words and grow into the confident preschoolers we celebrated on Saturday. It really was a lovely full-circle moment for everyone. ❤️

Thank you to all of our families for celebrating this special milestone with us. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did and made memories you’ll treasure for years to come.

And finally, a massive thank you to our incredible team. From planning every detail to setting up on the day, so much love and care went into making Graduation 2026 such a special celebration. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they created together. 💛

🍪🧁 Busy Little Bakers! 🧁🍪

Bumblebees have been busy in the kitchen making delicious sugar cookies ready for our Preschool Graduation celebration this weekend! 🎓💛

The children loved getting involved in every step of the baking process, from measuring the ingredients and mixing everything together to decorating their cookies with lots of colourful sprinkles. 🌈✨

We can’t wait for our Preschoolers and their families to enjoy these special treats as they celebrate such an important milestone. Congratulations to all of our wonderful graduates! 🎓🍪❤️

🌘 Looking Up to the Sky! 🌘

There’s lots of excitement at Play 2 Learn today as we’ve been learning all about tonight’s solar eclipse! ☀️🌙

Across the nursery, the children have been exploring what happens during a solar eclipse through stories, discussions and hands-on activities, sparking lots of curiosity and some brilliant questions along the way.

If you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of tonight’s eclipse, remember never to look directly at the sun 🕶️

We can’t wait to hear tomorrow if any of our children managed to spot it! 🌟

🌞🍦 Summertime Treasure Hunt! 🍭🗺️

Our Dragonflies had a fantastic time becoming little explorers during their summer treasure hunt! ☀️

With no peeking allowed, the children closed their eyes while their teachers hid lots of summer-themed treasures around the garden. Once everything was hidden, it was time to search!

The children excitedly explored every corner of the garden, working together to spot the hidden treasures. It was lovely to see them sharing their discoveries, helping their friends and celebrating each find together.

Treasure hunts like this are a brilliant way to encourage teamwork, communication, problem-solving and observation skills—all while having lots of fun outdoors. We think it’s safe to say our little explorers completed their mission! 🗺️💛

🍎🎨 Apple Printing Fun! 🎨🍎

Bumblebees enjoyed getting creative with a fun apple printing activity! 💛

Using apples as paint stamps, the children dipped them into bright colours before pressing them onto large sheets of paper to reveal the amazing patterns hidden inside. As they explored, they experimented with different colours, discovered what happened when colours mixed together and created their own unique works of art.

Throughout the activity, we talked about the colours we could see, the new colours we had made and the different prints and shapes the apples created. It was lovely to watch the children’s confidence grow as they explored, experimented and proudly admired their colourful masterpieces! 🍎✨

🧣✨ Peekaboo & Sensory Scarf Fun! ✨🧣

Our Butterflies had so much fun exploring colourful sensory scarves this week! 💛

The children loved hiding behind the scarves before popping out to play peekaboo with their friends and teachers. As they played, we introduced new colours and simple words, encouraging lots of smiles, interaction and early communication.

A simple activity that sparked so much curiosity, laughter and learning! 🌈

📏✨ Measuring Up in Magic Maths! ✨📏

Dragonflies took their Magic Maths session outdoors as they became little mathematicians, measuring and comparing each other’s heights! 🌿

Using chalk, the children marked where each of their friends reached on the garden fence before adding their names. As we measured, we talked about mathematical words such as taller, shorter and the same, encouraging the children to compare, estimate and explain what they noticed! 💛📐

☀️🔢 Outdoor Maths Adventures! 🔢☀️

Our little learners have been exploring numbers outdoors by tracing, recognising and counting as they play. Tracing each numeral with their fingers helps develop early number recognition while strengthening fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Fresh air, active play and learning all rolled into one! 🌿💛
