🐣 Our children are absolutely loving spending time with our baby chicks! 🐥
This has been a wonderful hands-on learning experience, giving the children opportunities to learn about how to care for living things, describe what the chicks feel like, and even come up with some creative names for them.
As well as developing their language and understanding of the world, the children are learning how to handle the chicks gently and safely. They also understand the importance of good hygiene and know that washing their hands after handling the chicks helps keep everyone healthy.
What a fantastic way to learn through real-life experiences! 💛✨

🐣 We now have 6 beautiful baby chicks! The children have had a fantastic week watching them hatch, handling them gently, and helping to care for them.
This has been such a wonderful learning experience, giving the children the opportunity to observe the life cycle of a chicken firsthand. They have loved comparing the new chicks with our larger chickens in the garden, which they help care for every day.
The excitement, curiosity, and responsibility shown by the children throughout the week have been lovely to see, and they are very proud of their new feathered friends! 🐥💛🐔

Eggciting news! 🐣 Our chicks have started hatching today! We can’t wait for the children to see them tomorrow and hopefully watch even more chicks hatch throughout the day. It’s such a special experience to see new life emerge, and we’re excited to share it with them!

We are so excited to be hatching our very own chicks! Today, the eggs were carefully placed into the incubator, and now the countdown begins. 🥚✨
Over the coming weeks, the children will have the wonderful opportunity to observe the hatching process and learn about the life cycle of a chick firsthand. This is a fantastic hands-on learning experience that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
Now we wait patiently and keep our fingers crossed for some fluffy arrivals! 💛🐥
