Post from Spectrum Community Arts WE’RE OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 🐠✨
Today we’re kicking off our Summer Sensory Story Exploration Workshops with Tiddler!
Over the next two weeks, we’ll be bringing lots of sensory storytelling, music, movement, creativity and fun to The Forest Centre. 🎵
We still have spaces available for ages 4 - 17, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, there’s still time to book!
🐠 Tiddler: 18th–20th August
£10 per participant | 6 spaces per session
Parent/carers are required to stay within the workshop and actively support participants.

🦁 Down in the Jungle: 24th–26th August
📍 The Forest Centre, Marston Moretaine
£15 per participant | 8 spaces per session
Parent/carers are required to stay within the workshop and actively support participants.

These sessions are specially designed for children and young people with complex SEND and/or PMLD.

📍 Location: Bedford, with travel across Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes
⏰ Hours: 30–37.5 hours per week
💷 Salary: £27,716–£31,629 FTE per year
📅 Closing date: 17th September 2026 at 12pm
🗓️ Interviews: 24th & 25th September 2026

This is a fantastic opportunity to take an important role in coordinating and developing our children’s services, helping us continue to provide meaningful support for autistic children, young people and their families.

We are so happy to share that The Mark Rutherford School and Harpur Trust Portable Planetarium is returning to Bedford Central Library! Join us for a tour around the solar system and learn all about our place in the universe.
