Lisa at The Beech Tree, Ystrad Mynach, has been amazing and provided us with a free venue and free entertainment for the night

The last two weeks in club the dragons have enjoyed a wide variety of activities. One week left of term and plenty more exciting things planned for them to enjoy.

This week we used lots of different resources to make, build and create. We also enjoyed coronation activities and celebrations.

🧙‍♂️ A wizard (to make resources appear when we need them)
👩‍🚒 A fire officer (to be on hand on fire pit days)
🦸‍♂️ A superhero (to be our advocate in all things play)
👨‍🚀 An astronaut (to ensure our play spaces are out of this world!)

Yr wythnos hon mae'r dreigiau chwilfrydig wedi mwynhau gwneud arbrofion gwyddoniaeth yn ystod ein hwythnos wyddoniaeth ochr yn ochr â'r holl weithgareddau y maent fel arfer yn eu mwynhau yn y clwb.

This week the inquisitive dragons have enjoyed some science experiments during our science week alongside all the activities they usually enjoy in club.

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi mwynhau croesawu'r holl ddreigiau yn ôl i'r clwb a gwrando ar yr holl bethau cyffrous maen nhw wedi gwneud dros wyliau'r Pasg. Maent wedi mwynhau llawer o weithgareddau a chwarae rhydd wrth iddynt dod yn ôl i'r drefn arferol.

This week we've enjoyed welcoming all the dragons back in to club and listening to all the exciting things they've done over the Easter holidays. They have enjoyed lots of activities and free play as they settle back in to routine.

We have some exciting news. We have managed to secure some funding from RCT Play services and are able to provide free sessions throughout May and June. These sessions are for children over the age of 5 and they start straight after your child's 5th Birthday.

These sessions will be every Wednesday to begin with however there will also be additional days coming soon so watch this space to see how to book your sessions.

This week in club should have been outside adventure however the weather had other ideas. The dragons had lots of exciting activities to make up for this along with two days of out side fun.

Due to the strike action tomorrow (02/03/2023) we are offering children a full day in club to help parents out. This will be 8am - 6pm at our Ystrad Mynach club setting

Prices will be £15 per child for the day, all children will require a packed lunch and a water bottle.

The clwb y ddraig staff are even busy on a Saturday completing their first aid training.

Yr wythnos hon dechreuon ni'r wythnos yn gwneud robots wnaeth arwain at lawer o weithgareddau cyffrous eraill o fewn y clwb.

This week in club we started the week making robots which lead to lots of other exciting activities within club.

Roeddem yn falch o groesawu'r holl ddreigiau yn ôl i'r clwb yr wythnos hon ac rydym yn falch o glywed bod siôn corn wedi bod I bob un ohonynt.

Rydym wedi mwynhau wythnos a banner prysur yn y clwb, yn cymbal llawer o weithgareddau nadolig a gorffen y tymor gyda pharti nadolig.

We've enjoyed a busy week and a half in club, carrying out lots of christmas activities and finishing off the term with a christmas party.

We will be visiting our clubs with some great experiences and also delivering play sessions within the community.

To do this, we are seeking 3 individuals that are passionate about play and hold a level 2 or 3 qualifications within playwork/ childcare/ education/ youth work

The ability to drive is preferable, as the use of the Clwb Y Ddraig van to travel is essential
