A day filled with laughter, wands, lots of dancing and cake!
Today was all about our wonderful leavers who are so ready for their next chapter.

Even though we are sad to say our farewells (in a few more weeks) we have enjoyed celebrating them, spending the day with them all and looking back on all the memories we have with them. The Dragonfly Room will be a very quiet place in September.

"I'm having the best day EVER!" - the words of one of our Dragonflies and we couldn't agree more!

Thank you for all the families who joined us this afternoon and to Dev for the party food and cake.

Something a little bit different to our usual posts...
On Saturday, most of Team Incy Wincys joined Chef Deven to celebrate her wedding. Deven, thank you for letting us join you on your big day - you looked beautiful and the cake was wonderful too! Once again a big congratulations from all of us at IW 👰‍♀️🎉

What a great end to our '30 Days Wild' challenge (a few days late due to the heatwave last week 🌞)
Thank you to everyone who came, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as the children did. And thank you to Dev for all the yummy treats too.

Fun Food Facts with Deven 🍛

Did you know the correct portion size for this meal for a child 5 years and under consists of :
80g of carbohydrates ( jollof rice)
40g protein ( paprika pork )
40g vegetables (cavola nero)

For the delicious pudding it is:
60g dairy (Greek yoghurt)
40g fruit (peaches)

Here at Incy Wincys we pride ourselves in variety, nutrition & homemade tasty foods. We always ensure your children not only have happy full tummies but are getting the nutrients needed to grow big and strong. We use locally sourced fruit & vegetables from the Greengrocers and some is even grown and harvested in our very own kitchen garden by the children.

The Incy Wincy children loved this meal today from our yummy spring menu.

After a few tweaks here & there our Spring menu has been rolled out and is a success! Using Seasonal products and plenty of homegrown vegetables (including our rainbow chard which appears on our menu) - ensuring the children get a varied diet as always.
Dev's homemade Cornish pasties were a big hit with the children and our elderflower ice cream always goes down with no complaints - why don't you try some this week with our family sized take home ice cream tubs... but be quick before they all go!
