Well done to our Year 5/6 orienteering team who competed in the County Final at Haughley Park, Stowmarket!

Twenty pairs took part in the event, starting with a practice round before moving on to the championship competition. Brampton demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination and navigation skills throughout the day.

A special congratulations to Brampton Team 1A, who achieved an outstanding 2nd place finish in the county final!

We are incredibly proud of all the children who represented the school so brilliantly. 🌟🧭🥈

Bitesize Bookworms Competition information - 📚✏️

Children are encouraged to read their favourite book and then write a review about it (25 words maximum) for a chance to win amazing prizes for themselves and the school.

For example, your child could answer:

Why the book is their most favourite ever?
Who their favourite character is and why they love them?
Which part of the story do they love the most?

The competition is open to UK primary school children across three age groups, with one winner and three runners up in each. Winners will receive a £200 TG Jones gift card, plus £4000 of books and stationery for the school, while runners up win a £50 TG Jones gift card and £500 of equipment for the school.

Entries will be judged on creativity, humour, understanding of the book and overall impact so be sure to make your reviews funny and unique to stand out from the crowd.

Thank you to Paige from Happy Smiles Club for coming to visit Reception class this week.

Reception learned all about what foods are good and bad for your teeth and what causes plaque to build up. The children discussed how long and how many times and day they should brush their teeth and even got to brush dinosaurs teeth too! 🦷 🪥✨
