As we head into the final day of the school term, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what your incredible support has helped us achieve this year.

Every raffle ticket bought, ice pop enjoyed, event attended, donation made and hour volunteered has made a real difference to the children at Albert Pye & Ravensmere.

From funding football goals, books for every child at Christmas and theatre trips, to classroom resources, school club support and our new defibrillator, together we’ve been able to provide opportunities and equipment that will benefit children for years to come.

Thank you to every parent, grandparent, carer, volunteer, local business and member of our school community who has supported us this year. We couldn’t do it without you.

Have a wonderful summer, and we look forward to seeing you all in September for another fantastic year!

Thank you so much, Ms Creed and all the staff. This really does mean so much to us! We absolutely love being able to support the children and the schools, and seeing everyone enjoy the events makes all the hard work completely worth it.

We will sadly be losing some very cherished members of our PTFA this year — Sarah Gray and Fran Howlett. We are going to miss them so much and are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve given to the PTFA.

This does mean we’ll have spaces for new members in September and we always need extra volunteers to help at our events! Even an hour here and there makes such a huge difference.

A massive thank you to the staff, families and our whole school community for always getting behind our slightly crazy ideas. We really couldn’t do any of it without you all!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our School Fête such a fantastic afternoon last Friday! We are delighted to announce that, with your help, we raised an unbelievable £3,064. 82!!

We are incredibly grateful to all of our wonderful volunteers & teachers who gave their time to run stalls, everyone who baked such delicious treats, and all those who generously donated raffle prizes. Your kindness, generosity, and hard work made the event possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

A special thank you to our local emergency services for bringing along their vehicles and taking the time to meet everyone—it was a real highlight of the day! We’d also like to thank the Mayor for joining us and showing support for our school, and the Army Cadets for attending, rolling up their sleeves & helping to make the event so enjoyable. Another huge thank you to the talents of Mr & Mrs Berry for the amazing ‘Splat a Teacher’ stocks, Mr & Mrs Begley-Boswell for the awesome photo booth & Stacey Dyer for the beautiful human fruit machine boxes!

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along to support the fête. It was wonderful to see our school community come together, and we hope you all had a fantastic time.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
