A free school meal saves a family around £480 per child per year!

From the start of the 2026 to 2027 academic year, all children from households in receipt of Universal Credit will be entitled to receive a free meal.

If your child does not currently receive free school meals
• You may now be eligible under the expanded criteria
• You will need to apply through your local authority or through school

If you are unsure whether you need to apply or if your circumstances have changed, please contact:

There is some planned roadworks between the 1st September and the 22nd September in the local area and this may cause distruption.

We strongly advise that where possible families walk, bike, or scooter to school. If you do have to drive, please plan ahead to ensure you are not caught up in traffic and that you park sensibly and with consideration to our neighbours

Please also take extra care when crossing roads

Tonight marked the final ALT competition of the school year.
we are incredibly proud to share that Albert Pye attended 22 out of the 24 fixtures this year, with the vast majority of these events taking place after school.

We have taken over 300 children to these events, for many it's their 1st competition and possibly their 1st Medal.

A massive thank you to Mr Mckenzie and the entire teaching staff for supporting these events - this would not have been possible without this incredible team x

Huge congratulations to our Year 5 football team who competed in the ALT Championship at Red Oak Primary School!

It was an incredible tournament for our players:

-The A Team put on a brilliant performance to finish 2nd in their league! 🥈
-The B Team played outstandingly and won their league!

🏆Every single player showed amazing determination and sportsmanship. A truly fantastic team effort from everyone involved.
