Wirral Grammar School for Girls

Today we welcomed Year 5 pupils to our school as part of our transition activities with a fantastic range of experiences .
Pupils from Stanton Road Primary School and Town Lane Primary School enjoyed music performances from our talented musicians, supported by our dedicated music department. Whilst Higher Bebington Junior School pupils took part in exciting maths challenges, science experiments, and a game of rounders at lunchtime.

What a truly successful and memorable evening celebrating our incredible Year 13 French students. From laughter to reflections, it was the perfect way to say goodbye and wish you all the best for the future.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils from Year 7-13 who continue to shine across so many different sports . From netball, football, volleyball, trampolining, cross country, cricket, dance, gymnastics, rounders and athletics. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate their dedication, talent and achievements at our annual Sports Awards last night

Many thanks to our guest speaker Eve, a former pupil who gave an inspiring speech reminding us all of the value of sport and how it can help with confidence and resilience.

None of this would be possible without our absolutely phenomenal team of PE teachers. Your dedication, endless energy, and passion for inspiring the next generation of girls in sport is unmatched. You are truly amazing, and we are so lucky to have you!

You have been amazing throughout the exam season. We're looking forward to your Prom next week, and are wishing you an amazing summer and a well-earned break!

Tonight we welcomed our Year 6 pupils for our third Craft Activity session, where the girls completed their book cards and book marks.
It's lovely to see how the girls are settling in and chatting with new friends.
We hope to see you all next week for our final event.

We are looking forward to welcoming our new Year 12 students to school tomorrow and Friday for their induction days.

Whether you are progressing from our own Year 11 or joining us from another school, we are incredibly excited to welcome you into our vibrant sixth form community where we are proud to support and inspire the next generation of female leaders.

We are so proud of our Year 11 pupils for the way they have approached their exams, with determination, resilience and a positive attitude throughout. By keeping going and always striving to be the best version of themselves, they have truly embodied one of our core school values. Now it’s time to enjoy a well-earned break. Well done, everyone!
