I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you 🙏 to every single individual who so generously and kindly and thoughtfully bought something off our Amazon wish list for the animals.

We receive no funding, have never received any kind of grant and self fund everything ourselves all for the animals and the community so to receive such support from you, helping us help the animals means the world 🌎

I cannot believe the response we received and the support from you all I wish I knew who you were as it comes through anonymously but please know that we are so grateful and the animals are so so grateful.

You were so generous that we now have created a stock area that we can use rather than having to literally be on our last bag of feed all the time, which is always stressful and worrying especially when the bank account lives between £0.00 and £100 most of the time.

Our hay feed alone costs £45 every 3 days. The lack of grass situation due to the weather means that the animals are already eating through their winter supply.

I’m going to leave the Wish List open as the amount of pressure it took off our shoulders is such a relief please do keep sharing the post.

🐴🐐 Could you spare the occasional few hours to help our animal sanctuary? 🐑🐓

We’re looking for some lovely, reliable volunteers to join us on an occasional basis, helping out with the care and general wellbeing of our animals 💚

Our sanctuary is home to a whole range of characters — 🐑 sheep, 🐐 goats, 🐓 chickens, 🦆 ducks, 🫏 donkeys, 🐴 horses, 🐱 cats, 🐰 rabbits and 🐹 guinea pigs!

Volunteer tasks could include helping feeding the animals, watering, keeping things clean and tidy, and supporting with the day-to-day care and wellbeing of our animals.

If you’re an animal lover, local and enjoy being around animals, and fancy spending some time somewhere a little different, we’d love to hear from you! ❤️

AMAZON WISH LIST UPDATE
POST UPDATE:
Wow we have been blown away by the support and generosity of others, I wish I had of reached out sooner because you have all helped lift our spirits and the support feels like one big hug to us and the animals.

From the wonderful messages we have received, we will have a good stock of cat food/ rabbit food and hay to keep us going hopefully for the rest of the summer. I've added a couple of other bits which we are running low on if anyone was able to support us, but these are not as low as the other bits which will be arriving soon.

This is: -
Chappie (this supports our dog with Pancreatitis mixed with fresh peas and white fish).

Dear all,
We've had a really hard couple of weeks with meds, vets bills and supportive treatment to take care of our flock during the Blue Tongue Virus situation in Devon. This post won't even cover in words the feelings we've all been going through in Devon and we are so sad and sorry for anyone that has had to experience it too.

Thankfully, following round the clock care, and loads of supportive treatment, love and extra chin scratches we have managed to see 2 of our very poorly sheepies through it and another one through an anaphylactic reaction all in the same week! That was very scary!

Please if anyone is able to support the sanctuary we desperately need the following feed top ups: -

- Hay for the small animals (rabbits and guinea pigs)
- Dry cat food (Iams)
- Wet cat food (Felix or Whiskas sachets)

Thank you to two wonderful donations we've received last week we have managed to just about stay on top of our rising vet bill however our bank account is worryingly low, like practically empty!

I just wanted to do a public post to say thank you to whoever it is that has sent a donation to our CIC bank I can’t tell you how grateful we are!! What a blessing and much needed surprise at this current time!!

We were down to our last £100 and without even thinking about feed costs we owed the vets £338 with other charges still waiting to be put on the account it’s been an incredibly stressful time here especially with everything going on with Blue Tongue Virus (I will do a post another day regarding this)

I wish I knew who sent the donation to thank you personally but I can’t work out the name but thank you! You are so kind and us and the animals are very very grateful ❤️

Do get in touch as we’d love to welcome you to come and meet all the animals sometime so they can show you their appreciation ❤️

Quick update guys. Yesterday we’ve successfully saved one ewe and 3 lambs and gone back today to rescue another ewe and 2 more lambs who well hold temporarily until they can get to transport to their forever home ❤️

Bless them they’re so scared, it will take time to settle them and build confidence but with love, care and compassion they will be fine ❤️

If anyone is able to offer any donations we would be very grateful as we are going to need to organise extra fencing and supplies for these little cuties ❤️ please get in touch or see our pinned poster for ways you can support the sanctuary.
