What a great day out for Eric at BCA. The judges loved him and said that he was a real credit and looked wonderful for his age. So proud of him. In hand champion, 1st and two 3rds. Thanks to Katie for the lorry lend.

I have been at Widmer for twenty years and it’s been a huge amount of work and responsibility. It has also brought me much joy and allowed me to have my passion of horses around me. I have been surrounded by amazing people and horses, and I have loved the journey.

However, I am older, my circumstances have changed and it’s time for me to simplify my life. With a very heavy heart I have made the difficult decision to close Widmer Livery as a business, the last day being 18th April. The yard will be rented out as a separate livery business to Georgie Gammage of GG's Equestrian https://www.facebook.com/share/19yNyCdTCP/
Georgie has been working with horses for 25 years and she will continue to run Widmer as a friendly, kind and supportive yard for clients and horses.

Charlotte Perry my amazing Manager of 6.5 years will sadly be leaving. Charlotte has a very exciting new home at Windmill Farm Equestrian Centre, along with some of my lovely liveries to start a new chapter there with Katie.

It's an end of an era, but at least this option keeps the stables open in a ever challenging environment. I will continue as a private horse owner with my three horses. I just want less responsibility and work going forwards. I look forwards to more riding, carriage driving and fun!

Rupert and sheena were out at Amersham and managed a well deserved second in the dressage. CJ (grudgingly) embraced his inner dressage diva at BCA and somehow pulled a red frilly out the bag against all the fancy dressage horses. Not to be outdone Eva took Cj to show jumping where, after a more sedate round at 90 for GCSE filming, they got a first in the 1m. Well done!

Ground is good in our XC field so come and have fun in our cross county training field open to hire In Seer Green (HP9 2RQ). Jumps 1ft to 3ft3" (some can be lowered). Mixture of telegraph poles, tubes, tyres, chair, logs, pheasant feeder and ski jumps.

Sheena and CJ were out at T and P equestrian this week and came home with some frillies. 2nd in the 1m and 4th in the 90. It seems CJ improves with the size of the jumps! Eva will have to keep up with her mum! ;-)

A lovely busy weekend at Widmer. Charlotte Perry held a successful 'filler boot camp' at Windmill Farm and we also had cake and yard drinkies Fiday night! Thank you for a fun weekend!

Eva and CJ been very busy recently, firstly enjoyed a trip to Hickstead to compete in the national schools championships in the 1m class and then Eva and Rupert were on the podium , coming second in a very busy 90 class at GW Equine. Well done team!
