Having come home from holiday and found the slugs had eaten most of my plants, I spent the day reorganising my pots and having a trip to the garden centre and pretty pleased with how the patio looks now!

My son Benji is now a proficient touch type - and being castle buffs he is an expert at them too! This is him on being told there is only 4 more castles left on one of our day trips.......... poor child I hear you cry 😆

Summer break is almost upon us! Holiday clubs are booking up so grab a spot, I know that we're pretty used to having the kid at home!....... but it's still great to have things in the diary to keep them occupied isn't it?

What a fantastic service Tell Me Their Stories is. I was struggling with keeping my 10yr old engaged with reading and after a 45 min consultation with Tanuja discussing Benji's interests resulted in a wonderful recommendations for books he might like.
He now has a favourite author, loves picking up his books and has informed me of how excited he is for September when a new book he wants will get published!

All typing lessons are still remote over Zoom.
We supply your child with a colour coded key board and software full of fun games to keep them interested as we work together to learn to type.
I must say, however, I am slightly disappointed to be remote as no one will be able to admire the new beaded curtain tie backs we made after bead shopping when holidaying in Wales!

Ensure you get your child's eyes tested as early as they will allow you 3+. My son was devastated when prescribed glasses and it was only my teaching experience which meant I noticed a problem BUT when his specs arrived he was stunned at how crisp the words became! 5 years on the prescription has reduced as his eyes strengthen - Also remember eyes show other health conditions too - opticians are open and taking NHS standard precautions to keep us safe.
