Davenies Davenies is an independent prep school for boys age 4-13 in Beaconsfield, Bucks Davenies is a day preparatory school for boys between the ages of 4 and 13.

Whilst the school offers a thorough education which stretches each child, we endeavour also to offer a broad education so that the boys experience many opportunities in and outside the classroom. There is a range of academic ability in the school, but we want each boy to discover what he enjoys and where he has talent whilst developing the determination and confidence to tackle the areas where he

may be less adept. Davenies is a very friendly school run on Christian principles which welcomes children from all faiths or none. It emphasises manners, courtesy and good behaviour. Ultimately our aim is to lay the foundations for life, as well as to prepare the boys for the challenges of their next schools.

DAS Tenner Challenge 💡💷

Year 8 put their entrepreneurial skills to the test in the DAS Tenner Challenge! After investing £10, they designed, marketed and sold their own products to raise money for our House charities.

From dog treats and fidget toys to ice-creams and slushies, the afternoon was full of sales and fantastic success!

🐝 The Davenies Award Scheme (DAS) is our unique enrichment programme for Years 7 and 8, designed give opportunities beyond the classroom to develop leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurship and valuable life skills.

We are delighted to announce that Davenies has been commended in the Independent School of the Year Awards in the Independent Boys' School of the Year category.

This recognition celebrates our commitment to Engage, Inspire and Challenge every boy to fulfil his potential, both in and beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to our Junior School boys who took The Mathematical Association's 'First Maths Challenge'. Our greater depth mathematicians couldn't wait to represent Davenies in the worldwide challenge!
