This week finished on a busy but wonderful note with our Preschool Leavers' Party as we started saying goodbye to our 24 amazing children, who are now ready to begin their exciting new adventures at school.

We had lots of fun celebrating together with music, dancing, and plenty of smiles. It was a lovely way to mark the end of their preschool journey and create some special memories before they move on to the next chapter. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best as they start school!

The children in Little Explorers, Big Explorers, and Pre-school worked together today to collect natural resources from around the garden to create their own summer transient art. Big Explorers and Pre-School enjoyed a World Cup-themed music session filled with singing, dancing, and lots of fun! ⚽🎶

The children took turns practising their penalty shots, cheering each other on with great enthusiasm and teamwork. Everyone had the chance to lift the trophy, celebrating their achievements like true champions. It was a fantastic session that encouraged confidence, coordination, and team spirit while having lots of fun together!

Ishani Samaraweera- I work at Poppies Day Nursery in Beaconsfield. I travel by bus every day from High Wycombe, even though there are many nurseries much closer to home where I could work. I choose to make the journey because I genuinely love working at Poppies. My colleagues are friendly, supportive, and make every day enjoyable. The welcoming atmosphere and amazing team are what make the journey worthwhile. I’m proud to be part of such a caring nursery where both children and staff are valued.
