💛🏜️Exploring the sand this morning out in the garden🏜️💛
Halloween themed 🎃👻💀
The children explored the sand taking it in turns to hide and find the hidden halloween objects.
We took it in turns to share the spades and and promoted understanding feelings when talking about sharing the resources with our friends and how this made us feel.
This led on to making sandcastles using natural resources - flower pots the children found in the garden.
As we patted the sand together we said “pat, pat, pat”.
We continued to observe and work on showing a preference for a hand when holding and using tools.
Together we counted how many spiders we could find in the sand altogether?
13 was the answer❣️

#24 Hop, Skip and Jump
50 Things to Do50 Things East Sussex
This morning we part set up the number mats in the garden with hopscotch 50 things as our intention.
The children iniated and worked together, putting the mats together 1-10, showing a willing to have a go attitude.
⭐️We worked on our physical development - Standing on one leg, balancing, hopping on one leg and jumping with both feet. ⭐️
As we jumped and hopped we said out aloud 1 foot, 2 feet to remind us what to do.
💚We made a line and waited our turn. 💗
The children repeatedly had goes, didn’t give up and was very proud of thier finshed accomplishment when they could stand and balance on one leg or jump on 2 feet when instructed. 🎖️

We would like to highlight the support available through the Parenting Team. A range of free workshops, webinars, groups and drop-in opportunities are available for parents and carers across East Sussex, covering topics such as positive parenting, supporting children's emotional wellbeing, anxiety, neurodivergence and family relationships.
Attached is the latest programme of events and we would like to share these opportunities with families who may benefit from additional support. Further information can also be found via the East Sussex Family Hubs website.
