Welcome to Battle Abbey School Nursery where happy children thrive in our welcoming, stimulating and caring environment. We strive to meet the individual needs of every child and our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff work closely in partnership with parents to ensure the children enjoy and achieve the best outcomes from their time with us. Children may join us from the age of three
months old and quickly settle in our welcoming, fun and well resourced Nursery. Our Oaks class transition to the Reception class is considered to be “seamless” as the children already feel part of the Battle Abbey School family and we focus on ensuring their Early Years Foundation Stage learning, confidence and skills provide the best springboard into school. The Nursery enrols pupils automatically in an Online Learning Journal ‘Tapestry’ Programme, which allows parents and carers to regularly view updates on their child’s progress and activities at the Nursery. Battle Abbey School Nursery is an integral part of Battle Abbey School and enjoys the full range of their fantastic facilities which includes a wide variety of outdoor space for extensive learning and play opportunities, risk taking and exploration in a safe and supportive environment. The Senior school welcomes us for the annual whole school photo, family days and other opportunities to explore this lovely historic site. Our lovely secure and dedicated garden provides a soft play surface and nature area which offers lots of opportunities to play, have fun with friends, explore and learn with the support of our friendly, experienced staff.
