For this year’s Christmas Tree Festival we have chosen to support Battle Food Bank. One of our Pre-School Trustees kindly offered to make us a wooden structure which has enabled us to create a tree of donations that have been generously given by the children and their families, friends of the Pre-School and the Battle Baptist Church community. The children very much enjoyed using different painting tools to decorate the structure with gold paint; climbing a step ladder to reach the top was a huge highlight! We have also performed science experiments with the children to shrink our favourite food packagings to create hanging decorations too. All donations will go to the Food Bank to help local families over the festive period.
Some of the children went to St.Mary's church this morning to set up the tree with the food donations.
