🟠⚫️ U8 TIGERS — FINAL FRIENDLY BEFORE THE 26/27 SEASON! 🟠⚫️
WHAT. A. PERFORMANCE! 🔥
Today’s performance was, without a doubt, the best this group have ever produced! Everything we’ve been working on in training was there for all to see, and the progress these players are making is incredible.
From GK to attack, we were confident and assured on the ball. We showed the belief to get our foot on it and understood when it was the right time to drive forward — and when it wasn’t, we found the right pass. 👏
Off the ball, we found space, made the right runs at the right time and created some fantastic opportunities in front of goal. In reality, we could have scored plenty more, but the coaches stressed from minute one that the result and goals were not the objective today.
The objective was simple: take everything we’ve been working on in training and put it into practice in a matchday environment.
And that objective was absolutely SMASHED out of the park! 💥
Every single player who stepped onto that pitch today should walk away with their head held high. The effort, confidence, understanding and teamwork on display were OUTSTANDING! 👏🧡

What a performance from James today — probably the best we’ve seen from this young man on the pitch!
He was confident on the ball, made intelligent decisions, drove at players, used his skills brilliantly to get out of tricky situations and made some fantastic runs into space.
He was incredibly unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet, but with performances like that, we’re sure it won’t be long! ⚽️

And with that, pre-season is officially DONE! ✅
