We visited Where The Little Ones Play this morning, a place we've been meaning to try out for ages and we are so glad we did! Today's crew members enjoyed sand and water play, painting, play doh and loved exploring the many fav resources! We will definitely be back!

Conker painting 🌰🎨

Today we used our conkers we picked to create some masterpieces! We refined our fine motor skills picking up the conkers and dipping it into our choice of paint, practicing our colour recognition and then came the fun bit - shake shake shaking to create our pictures! They turned out fab 🧡💛❤️

Today's crew members had a wonderful time joining in with our conker hunt today! Searching through the leaves to find their treasures, they especially liked finding conkers still in their shells and it gave us chance to discuss how the conkers grow and fall down from the trees. Throughout the activity, the crew were developing their observation skills, physical coordination, and understanding of the natural world around them. They worked alongside their friends beautifully, sharing the excitement of the hunt and practising important social skills like cooperation, sharing and taking turns opening the conkers Sally found. What a lovely way to explore the season together! 🍂🌰🌳
