WeaveDiva was established in 2011, in 2017 I obtained my teaching qualification to allow my training academy to accredited those who were both existing members of the hair industry and also complete beginners in the application of hair extensions.
At one point it was difficult to successfully be insured as a hair extension technician without having any hairdressing qualifications or background.
As I knew I had built a successful business specialising in the application of hair extensions I knew I wanted to be able to offer that opportunity to others.
I carried out my teaching assessments in Glasgow 6 years ago and hunted high and low for a company to accredit my training academy: this may seem crazy as accredit so many amazing training facilities and are widely recognised, however this took a lot of research for me to find back in the day๐.
I found I have a passion for teaching. Although there was the want to provide a training academy for others to learn great new skills, I didnโt realise the passion I would develop for this aspect of the business. I have seen many students go on to smash their goals when it comes to what they set out to do. For me, this is rewarding.
Although our course is designed for beginners , it is in no way a basic course and provides students with extensive knowledge which has been condensed into our training day and manuals. I have simplified how to get yourself up and running, with 14 years of continuous experience in the hair extensions industry, it has allowed me to provide the tricks of the trade within our course.
Our training Academy offers ongoing support for all students. I take pride in this and encourage it
