Well done to .mcfarlane1 and Matthew Gourdie , who both brought home gold medals at the MTB ISKA Scottish Open today 🥇🥇

First up was Jack, who won his quarter-final, semi-final and final with three excellent performances. He showcased some lovely boxing and kicks throughout and really demonstrated the hard work he’s been putting in. A very bright future ahead for Jack and we can’t wait to see him back in the ring.

Next up was Matthew, who had a straight final against a strong southpaw opponent. Matthew utilised his clinching and knees extremely well and put on a great performance to take the gold!

Our juniors Fahad, Johnny and Nicholas also had some tough fights today. Although the results didn’t go their way, they’ll take plenty from the experience, learn from it and continue to develop.

3 out of 3 wins today Warrior Spirit Festival

Stew was up first and stopped his opponent in Round 3 with calf kicks. He used his boxing well to set the calf kicks up throughout the fight, before getting the finish. Great work, Stew!

Ali was next up against a tricky opponent. He controlled the close exchanges with strong knees and scored consistently from range with sharp kicks, earning a unanimous decision victory. Excellent performance!

Maddox rounded off the night against an awkward opponent with sharp boxing. Maddox stayed composed, outscoring him with quality teeps, strong clinching and kneeing forcing two standing counts on his way to a unanimous decision win.

Three good performances from our lads tonight. Hard work paying off, and we’re proud of every one of them. 👏🐝
