A massive thank you to everyone who turned up at our big hall reunion disco last night.
Not the greatest turn out but, the tickets were sold and the money was brought in which was to the benefit of the charity “the FAB club “ .
I think we are now at an age where we look out our window and think, it’s too cold to go out. lol.
Once big John has tallied up all the money raised, we will let you know the total of how much you raised.
It was strange not having Gary with me on stage last night but, I have been doing discos for maybe a couple of years now so I got through it. 😂
Massive thanks to Billy Weir, Andy Pagett for being our doorman and of course Big John.
For their contribution to the evening.
Even though big John played some music from the wee hall downstairs in the centre ( ZZ Top and others )
I really hope you all enjoyed your evening !
The dance floor had dancers to almost every song.
It was great to see some of the old faces again from the Centre.
We may do another in a couple of years time if I still have it in me to stand up there on stage and remember all the music from the big hall.
Keep an eye out on here in the next day or so and we will let you know how much you helped raise last nigh.
One last thing, thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes. This gave us an even better selection of raffles.
Thanks again everyone, even the people who bought tickets and didn’t make the event.
The money will be of benefit to the FAB club.
