What if the simplest materials held the greatest potential for learning?

Our team has recently returned from an international study tour, deepening our understanding of Reggio-inspired education - and one area that continues to inspire us is the power of Remida and loose parts.

These open-ended materials invite children to explore, imagine and create without limits. A simple collection of objects can become anything - a story, a structure, a solution. In this way, loose parts nurture creativity, problem-solving, collaboration and independence in ways that fixed resources simply can’t.

Remida also offers something deeper. It encourages children to value the environment, to see beauty in reuse, and to understand that everyday materials can be transformed into meaningful learning experiences. It’s where creativity and sustainability come together.

We’re excited to bring fresh ideas and inspiration back into our work - continuing to create environments that honour each child’s unique way of thinking and expressing themselves.
