8 years ago today marks the day we said goodby to Oscar, our first Lab together. Then a few years later another heartbreaking goodbye to Rosie. These photos show the huge part these two played in our growing family.
Here’s to all the incredible dogs we’ve shared our lives with. May they be free from pain, know how loved they were and what happiness they brought 🥰
(We will gloss over Oscars naughty behaviour, that’s why we loved him so much!)

🌅A beautiful walk up the Hill this morning. We are getting very used to this heat and walking incredibly early… Have a lovely day…🐾

Sharing… Just been out on the driveway in bare feet. Enough said! 🥵 (of course timings are a guideline, it’s still bloomin’ hot at 6pm)

🏃‍♀️When I’m not working, I do like a challenge!🤪
Next weekend at 12:00 on Saturday 30th May, I will be “Escaping from Dartmoor Prison!” I have entered the ‘Felon’ category, the longest time category! 🤣
So I have 24hrs to 🏃‍♀️walk/jog/hobble/laugh my way as far as possible from the Prison. No cheating! No car/bike etc and no sleeping.
🏅There is no prize, just a personal challenge to push yourself.
💪 I actually have no distance expectations, but maybe 30-50miles? 🫣 I’m ignoring the contour lines on the map!
🦮I am good at walking, so figure, it’s just one foot in front of the other. I have tried and tested all my kit, clothing and made my energy boosting healthy snacks, so I am ready!
👍My entry fee goes to Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team - Plymouth. I have my reasons, see the below page if you’d like to financially support me.
😴BUT, if you are also cursed with broken sleep, please ping me a voice note or a message to boost me along during the early hours!
👻 No spooky stories though! 🫣

☀️Loved the warmth of the last few days, but I’m not complaining about the greyer day. Gorgeous bird song, not another soul. Happy relaxed doggies.. 🥰
