Three Ways School is proud to share our recent Ofsted report. To also receive an exceptional grading for Inclusion is a huge honour and shows how much our pupils care for each other, their community and take pride in everything they achieve.
It also celebrates our AMAZING staff team who strive to achieve aspirational outcomes for our pupils every day. We couldn't do it though without the fabulous support of our families and carers, multi-agency teams and local community support and the work of our outreach service Brighter Futures, supporting pupils in mainstream primary and secondary schools locally.
As a trust we move forwards with plans for the new special school in Keynsham (Charlton House) and also the new special school build on the old Culverhay site (Green Ways) and look forward to working in partnership with our local community to build SEND capacity in BANES to ensure we have the facilities to offer even more places to ensure our amazing pupils and future pupils shine ⭐️
A huge thank you to the BANES community who support Three Ways School and visit 3 Cafe Kitchen, our work skills community cafe. If you haven't been for coffee and cake yet please come and visit us when we reopen at the start of the September term.
Happy summer holidays to everyone!

Last Friday we held our “3 Fest” festival day for the whole school to enjoy! We had incredible acts including singers, dancers (Michael Jackson you were incredible!) and even a gymnast!
Well done to everyone for wearing your bright colours, waving your flags and above all cheering everyone on! We all had the best afternoon!

When: 1st Friday of every month - starting 3rd July. 6.15-8.15pm.
Where: The Hive, Peasedown St John, BA28DH
Who is it for? 8-18 year old young people with a disability / neurodiversity, their siblings/relations (in age range) and friends.
Adult to attend? Yes at present. Parent / guardian / personal assistant to attend
Cost: £2 voluntary contribution - cash payment please.
What will be on offer? Sports activities, board games, arts and craft, chill out sensory space.
Will it be suitable for everyone? Please email if unsure, young people will be able to either be with/alongside others or able to do activities on their own with others nearby.
It’s quite late: We have chosen a Friday evening to give the weekend for young people to adjust to a later night and also not clash with other opportunities in the area. You could always come along for part of the session.
How do I sign up? No need on this occasion but please complete a membership form if you can before you come / complete on arrival.
I would like to ask some questions: Message via Banes Phab on Facebook or email [email protected]
Are you doing anything else? More opportunities to be shared soon including something for under 8’s.
What experience / support do you have to run this? Phab (national organisation) support new clubs with our public liability, insurance, policies and procedures. They also support us with advice on running the club. We are volunteer run but the main volunteers have lots of experience in working in the field.
How can I get involved? We need more volunteers for lots of different roles (some have a very low time commitment) email [email protected] to offer your support.
