Bath Spa Dance Club - Titans

Bath Spa Dance Club was formed in 2015 and is rapidly growing as it represents the university at various events throughout the year! We have a strong club ethos and value fundraising, and have put on many successful charity events such as Spa Does Strictly, which will return for its second year next January! Our club currently has two types of members: a competition member and a social member. Upon successful audition, our competition members have the opportunity to compete in any of our seven squads: Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Commericial, Tap, Ballet and Wildcard. Joining the dance club will undoubtedly improve your overall health and fitness levels but also help boost your self-confidence and provides you with the opportunity to meet loads of new people! Our friendly committee are here to make sure all our classes and events are as fun as possible, allowing you to benefit from them both physically and mentally. Sometimes it’s nice to forget about university work for a few hours and have a little boogie with your friends...well we think so anyway! Each competition team is required to rehearse once a week as we attend competitions in March and hold our annual showcase at the start of semester 2. Social members are able to come to the more relaxed and fun social classes and workshops held once a month, during our ‘social week'. Social members are welcome to attend all of the societies nights out, weekly strength and conditioning, you also get to perform routines in the showcase and the SU Pride event! This year we will be training at University Theatre in room UT113 and the Michael
Tippet Centre. Competition Classes taking place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays evening, and Strength and Conditioning on a Wednesday evening! Keep an eye on our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tiktok () pages for all the latest information regarding membership options, trial classes, audition dates, social events and weekly classes. Don't forget to check out our YouTube Channel (BSU Dance Club) to see all our routines and performances. Feel free to drop us a message if you have any questions and we hope to see you at a class soon! BSU Dance Committee x
