Hayesfield Girls School 1979 to 1984 or thereabouts - reunion page

Hi everyone, I have been contacted by the present Headteacher at who would like me to pass this message on:

Hi, I am the current Headteacher at Hayesfield and we are organising a day of celebrations on 6th July to commemorate 100 years of Girls education on the Upper Oldfield site as City of Bath Girls relocated there in 1922. We would love to hear from anyone who has any photos or memorabilia they would be happy to lend us to display as part of the day? We will be running tours for former pupils and would welcome anyone who would like to be part of an assembly for different year groups to talk about their memories and experiences. Please do email the school via [email protected] if you would like to be involved or join us for the day.

Does anyone remember Miss Boyce who taught textiles and cookery? If anyone wants to pass a message to her, even if just to say 'Hi' and 'Do you remember me?', I am in touch with her through both of our volunteeer commitments in Frome and will be seeing her at some point in January

Now we have lots more likes, has anyone got any interesting photos to share with the group? It doesnt matter what condition they are in, we dont expect any masterpieces, we are just happy to receive them. We could all do with a trip down Memory Lane, a few laughs and cries and generally nostalgic moments in our lives right now, I am sure. A bit of girlpower and ladies unite...

Hey, our web page reached 817 people this week. It appears we are such a popular group. Anyone got anymore photos, or stories to share, with your ex school ladies?

Look what I found. A sneaky shot of three ladies around the back of the huts. Cant remember what year this was taken but I do remember how funny it was when I took it. I think it was about 1981/2?? Angie, Sarah and Ali, please let us know if you remember this.
