PQA Bath

PQA Bath PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people aged 4-18 We look forward to meeting you! Lucy Payne – Principal

PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in comedy & drama, musical theatre and film & television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers. By working with people we believe are outstanding in their field, we aim to provide our students with a constantly evolving experience – something that is fresh, exciting and bang up-to-date. We want to instil the benefits of the performing arts into a new generation of young people, helping them to realise their potential, grow as individuals and become the people they want to be as they learn skills valuable for everyday life, not just the performing arts. And if our students have the ambition, we want to teach them the skills and give them the support to make it happen. Above all, we encourage our students to be amazing, just by being themselves. For more information or to book on a FREE taster/open day then please contact me further or check out our website.

🌟 Behind every PQA star is a teacher cheering them on! 🌟

This World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating the people who bring creativity, kindness and energy to our academy every week. 💛🖤

From helping a student find their voice to encouraging them to try something new, our teachers do so much more than teach performing arts. They build confidence, nurture friendships and create a space where our young people feel they belong. 🎭🎬🎶

To our wonderful team — thank you for seeing the potential in every student and helping them shine. We’re so lucky to have you! ✨

Show our teachers some love in the comments! 👇💛

🎬 AND WE’RE OFF! 👻🎃

Our Spooktacular Film Challenge has officially begun!

Over the next 5 weeks, our students will be taking on the Film and TV challenge of creating their very own spooky short films — from initial idea to final cut! 🎥✨

They’ll be developing stories, creating characters, acting for camera, filming scenes and bringing everything together into a finished film.

But there’s a twist… 👀

Our finished films will be going up against entries from PQA academies across the country as part of a national PQA Film Challenge! 🏆

That means just 5 weeks to create, perform, shoot and edit something worthy of the big screen.

🎬 5 weeks. One challenge. National competition.

Let’s see what we can create… 👻🔥

Lights. Camera. SPOOKTACULAR! 🎃🎬

So proud of our amazing students! A big shout out to 🌟Max 🌟Aliena and 🌟 Jessica (alumni).👏 🤩🎬
