🌌 CASTING CALL 🌌

We are casting for a preview performance of ‘Beneath The Camouflage Tree’ on 5th Nov at Forest Arts in New Milton. We recently had a well-received performance at White Bear Theatre (aka ‘South London’s New Writing Powerhouse’ - The Stage), and have been shortlisted for the Vault Creative Arts Playwrighting Award(!), so we’re excited to do another regional preview before our small scale tour launches in 2027…

For this preview, we are looking for a female and/or gender-queer actor, based in Hampshire/Dorset to play opposite Francesca McBride as either JACK, a quiet but observant Lance Corporal, or EVELYN, a fiesty and playful young woman disguised as Private Anthony Fielding. If you are available from 26th Oct-5th Nov and interested in applying, please click the link in our bio and complete the application form.

We are asking applicants to complete the short form and tape ONE of two scene options for the role they feel like the best fit for - please choose the scene you feel most comfortable and confident with! 💙

We’re so excited to see what everyone brings to the table 😊

🌌 DEADLINE TO APPLY: 5pm, Monday 28th Sept 🌌

Tomorrow our ‘lovely and heartwarming’ short has its Scottish Premiere at SeaChange Film Festival Screen Argyll 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As a Scottish-shot short, we are gutted that conflicting professional commitments mean we can’t make it to the Isle of Tiree this year, but we are sending the warmest wishes to the programming team and our fellow filmmakers for the weekend 💙 please take lots of photos and tag us!

🌟 WE’RE OFF TO NORTHERN IRELAND! 🌟 as a shortlisted film for the 37th Cinemagic Young Filmmaker Award and all!

As a festival dedicated to celebrating emerging artists’ creativity, imagination, and lived experiences, Cinemagic feels like an ideal home for this project. Our film speaks directly to the complexity of adolescence and the importance of creating space for young people to explore who they are, particularly those whose experiences may not always be reflected on screen 🍁
