📚🚌 Bath Children's Literature Festival Adventure! 🚌📚

Today, some of our children had the fantastic opportunity to take part in an event as part of the Bath Children's Literature Festival.

In true Roundhill community style, we travelled by public bus, giving the children a chance to enjoy the journey together and experience travelling independently within our local community.

The highlight of the day was meeting author Jarvis, creator of the much-loved Bear and Bird series. The children were delighted to hear from him, learn about his work and gain an insight into the creative process behind his wonderful stories and illustrations.

It was a memorable day filled with inspiration, excitement and a love of reading. Thank you to everyone who helped make the trip possible!

We also have other children attending Bath Literature Festival events later this week and next, and we can't wait to hear all about their experiences and adventures. Watch this space for more literary excitement!

🌟 What a fantastic start to the new school year! 🌟

We have loved welcoming all of our children back to school this week and seeing our classrooms filled with excitement, curiosity and happy faces once again.
A special welcome goes to all of our new families joining us in Reception and across the school. We are delighted that you are now part of our community and hope you enjoy being part of our school family. ❤️

The new term has certainly started with a mystery! One class arrived to find an intriguing collection of unusual components and objects waiting for them. With no explanation and plenty of questions, the children have begun their investigation, carefully examining the clues, discussing their ideas and making predictions about what the items could be and where they might have come from.

So far, there have been lots of brilliant suggestions, but the mystery remains unsolved... for now! 🕵️‍♀️🔍 We can't wait to see where their enquiries lead and whether they can crack the case before the end of the week.
Here's to a year full of curiosity, creativity and exciting learning adventures!
