Behold my other Summer creation and....shock, horror....it's NOT made from wool!! 😃
My 'Web' was a spontaneous idea that popped up one day when I was napping in my hammock. What if I could make something bigger....with a nice view? After a bit of Googling I purchased 20mtrs of climbing rope and 400mtrs of paracord and my Napform (napping platform) was born.
I am immensely pleased with it 😁😍😁
But I've yet to trap my prey 😆

My spinning and desire to make yarn has always been heavily influenced by the colours and the patterns of the world around me, and our latest trip to the South Downs had my creative juices overflowing 😍
I just HAD to translate those views into a custom spinning blend ASAP.

The Class of 25/26 is OUT 🥳🙌😄
It has been the hottest and sweatiest one ever experienced 🥵😅
The changes I anticipated at the turn of the year manifested in a way I hadn't predicted 🤔😏
So I am still working in the same school but with the realisation that I'm much more comfortable in the Resource Base rather than the Mainstream...ironically much like the children I support on a daily basis 🙄😕
I'm still passionate about well being and emotional regulation, getting to know your brain, teaching and modelling good mental health 😁👍
But now it's time to relax, stick my feet in a bucket, crack open a cider and think about all the things I can do next year 🍻🤪😁

It's been a very chilled Easter break for me. A head cold gave me the perfect excuse to stay home and knit whilst devouring silly stories. I'm so pleased with this finished project.
Raunioiset by Suvi Lyytikainen...a brilliant pattern with excellent explanatory videos and also some new to me techniques. Proof that there are always things to learn and new skills to acquire ❤️
Luckily I have a host of grandchildren to inspire me to knit many more 😁
