KS2 Teaching Assistant Apprentice with St Julian’s Church School, Bath - Find an apprenticeship We’ve introduced a new way to find and apply for an apprenticeship in England.

A huge well done to our Year 5/6 children who competed at the MSN games Cross Country race tonight. They were outstanding with four children qualifying for the County Finals in November by placing in the top 5! In true St Julians spirit two of our year 6 boys stopped to support a fallen competitor before carrying on with their own race. Our teams also supported other members of the team with moral support running with one of their team mates to support them to finish! It really was a joy to see the children being the very best that we can ask for,kind, considerate , team players and still competitive! Thank you to all the families who came to support the children , the cheering definitely helped give that extra bit of energy at the end of a challenging race.

The children at St Julian’s have been exploring the new Opal play equipment helped by the beautiful sunny September weather! We have been using our new Opal shed of loose pieces and dressing up, cubby places in the playground, the sandpit, tyres and loose parts on the paddock along with the mud cafe in the adventure area! It has been great to see the benefits of Opal play with less accidents, greater freedom of choice and less friendship difficulties.

Our reception children have enjoyed making new friends and playing with old ones. We have enjoyed our first PE a lessons with Premier, a tour of the school finishing with a visit to Miss Mills (our Head of School) and getting used to the routines of an Early years class.
