I used to think advertising meant million-pound TV campaigns.

Then someone broke it down for me in one line:
"You made the unknown, known."

That's it. That's marketing. If someone found me - I already did it. All that remained was for me to do it on purpose.

I used to hate sales. I was an engineer. I thought "Build something great and people will just show up."

Then I realised sales is just coaching with a price tag. I was helping people solve a problem because I cared about their goals, at times more than they did.

The better I got at sales, the better I understood what my clients desired, what they were running from, what was really going on.

I learnt that when coaching people, sales isn't optional. It's part of the job.

Years into a civil engineering degree, I quit to become a personal trainer.

My parents weren't happy. So I made them a bet.

"If I'm not making triple what an engineer earns within 2 years of graduating - I'll go back."

Most coaches drift. They grow but never know what they're growing towards. Level 11 is about defining your endgame.

The 15 stages tell you exactly where you are.
Act 1: Foundation. Stages 1-5.

Most coaches who think they're on Stage 9 are actually on Stage 4.
And vice versa.
