Fancy easing back into Spanish before the new term starts? 🇪🇸🚶‍♀️ Our Paseo por Bath is back on Thursday 3 September — a relaxed evening Spanish practice walk around our beautiful city.

It’s a lovely opportunity for our current students to reconnect before classes start again in mid-September, and also a great chance for anyone thinking about joining our Spanish classes to come along, meet us and use a little Spanish in a friendly setting.

This is not a guided tourist tour in Spanish — it’s an interactive learning event for adults learning Spanish. We’ll stop at some of Bath’s landmarks, read short texts in Spanish, answer simple questions and share anecdotes together, using as much Spanish as possible.

All levels welcome, with support for beginner-level learners.

🧠 Another good reason to keep learning Spanish?
Our latest Noticias lands in inboxes this Sunday morning, and this time we're looking at some fascinating new research into multilingualism and brain ageing.
Scientists studying multilingual speakers found that speaking more languages was associated with younger-looking patterns of brain connectivity. Interestingly, the findings also suggested that how well you speak another language and how early you start learning may matter too.
In the newsletter we're looking at what the study found (and its limitations), as well as something very close to our hearts at Todo el Mundo: the value of language learning throughout life.
