Some of you have been asking about this year's Sore Fingers Summer Schools Beginner/Intermediate course. Here's this year's course detail. We've reworked it a little after a successful trial run last year and we think it'll be even better this year!

We're teaching the beginner/intermediate courses (Charlotte - mandolin/guitar, Laura - fiddle/dobro & John - banjo/bass) at Sore Fingers Summer Schools again next April. They just announced this great offer - get your bookings in for the most fun week of the year!

The conditions are:

If our booking numbers for the 25th anniversary April 2020 Sore Fingers Week reach 150 in number by December 31st, 2019, we’ll draw out a winner from ALL deposit paid bookings received to date. The lucky booking will be credited with the full tuition fee of £325.00 leaving the winner with only their accommodation costs to find.

We need about another 50 or so bookings to make up the Draw Target Number. Ron Block of Alison Krauss and Union Station and Damien O'Kane are on their dual banjo 'Banjophony' tour at the moment, and are playing Chapel Arts Centre on Wednesday the 2nd of October.

Then on Saturday the 5th, bluegrass band Midnight Skyracer are performing and running a workshop at the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford-on-Avon.
