The Bath University Racing Submarine Team (BURST) builds and races human powered submarines around the world. The 2013-14 team are currently adapting a boat for the European International Submarine Races in Gosport, UK using the experience of the 2013 International Submarine Races in Maryland, USA. This is a straight course followed by a U-turn and slalom course at 6m deep to test both speed, manoeuvrability and consistency.
