BATH ALUMNI EVENT 30TH SEPTEMBER - FINAL REMINDER !

Hi everyone,

Just a final reminder for anyone who may have missed any previous communication !!

"I hope you've all had a relaxing summer and that the "rentrée" isn't too soul destroying... It is high time we had another reunion and I would therefore like to invite you all to McBride's pub in châtelet on Tuesday 30th September from 6.30PM onwards (http://www.mcbridesparis.com/infos-pratiques). As usual, the first drink will be on the university, so that should help convince a few of you :)

We hope to see you all there - its always a great opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old friends and do some networking !"

Hello fellow Bath alumni ! Hopefully you have all had a restful summer :) It will soon be time for another reunion (in a pub this time... so NO excuses) - keep an eye on this space !

Hello everyone ! I'm afraid we're having to cancel tomorrow's event due to the small turnout. Timing wasn't ideal with Easter coming up and I apologise ! I'll announce something else soon in a more traditional pub environment ;) See you soon !

Hello all ! It's been waaay too long, but we've finally put our heads together and organised the next event. What could be more typically Bath-like than a good old Karaoke in an asian restaurant ? Hmmm... OK, lots of things, but this should still be very fun indeed !

This event will take place on Friday 18th April at China Town Belleville restaurant in the 10e, from 19:00 onwards. Brace yourselves for an evening of fine food, Tsingtao beer and cheesy singing ! If you'd like to attend, you know the drill : please send a confirmation email to [email protected]

EVENT CONFIRMED : Thursday 16th May from 18h30 at McBrides (Châtelet).

On this occasion, Bath are sending over some representatives and placement coordinators. Its an opportunity to network, to meet new & old friends, and to get up to date with what's happening at Bath. More importantly, some complimentary drinks will be available so this event is unmissable!

Mc Bride's Irish Pub - Accueil

Hi All! Some representatives from the UoB PoLIS (formally MLES) dept are visiting Paris to take some publicity shots for placements in the city.

They're looking for a languages grad (ideally MLES, not IMML) to photograph out and about in Paris and to give a quote about their time at Bath - the photos would be used on the website and dept. publications to promote the benefits of undertaking a placement abroad.

If you're interested - and available in the morning of Wednesday 24th April - please let me know (Joanna Sochacka - Alumni Relations Officer - [email protected]) - the team would be happy to come to you if you're at work (relatively central) and take you for a coffee!
