A-Level Results Day can bring celebration, relief, disappointment - or a heady mixture of all three.
But whatever is on that piece of paper today, it doesnβt have to define your future.
If your results havenβt gone the way you hoped, there is another route. At Bath Academy, our students come to us to resit, refocus, and give themselves another chance to reach the university, course, and future they had imagined.
Weβve seen time and time again just how much can change with the right support, small classes, and the determination that you can achieve more.
Last year:
β’ 92% of our A-Level students secured a place at their first-choice university
β’ 60% progressed to Russell Group universities
β’ 23.3% of grades were A/A*
β’ 14 out of 17 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate
β’ We have a track record of impressive uplifts in resit grade profiles (last year one of our resit students, Charlotte, improved by a huge 6 grades across her profile)
So, if today hasnβt gone to plan, don't panic, and donβt write the next chapter before youβve explored all your options. βοΈ

Some images from Milly's GCSE Art project, recently submitted for assessment. βοΈποΈπ¨
This body of work explores childhood, memory, and the passage of time through a series of self-portraits and personal imagery. πͺβ³π°οΈ
Through layered imagery, changing perspectives, and careful attention to detail, Milly has created a thoughtful and deeply personal response to the theme of identity and time. The work reflects on moments that shape us, the memories we carry forward, and the relationship between who we were and who we are becoming.
We are incredibly proud of the creativity, dedication, and resilience that has gone into developing this beautiful work whilst she's been at the college. Wishing her the very best as she awaits her GCSE Art results.

BATH ACADEMY ALUMNI π βͺ
Such a pleasure to have Parsa visit us last week! π
Parsa came to Bath Academy from Iran's Allameh Helli School (National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents) to study our two year A-Level programme with the goal of getting into a prestigious British university.
He worked hard and with the help of our tailored teaching programme he achieved his goal and secured a place at Russell Group University, University of Southampton, to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Parsa's grade profile when leaving Bath Academy was A*A*A B in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and Biology. Parsa is loving university-life and we wish him all the best as he nears the end of his first year.
Please do pop in or reach out if you are a graduate of Bath Academy - we always love to hear how our alumni are doing. βοΈ
