Oldfield Park Pre-School

Did you know that we are situated within Oldfield Park Infants school. We have a classroom with its own garden area, and a team of experienced staff. We make use of both the school playground and the hall for additional experiences such as ballet, PE and forest school.

On Wednesday we were joined by Jon for Outdoor Adventures. The children looked for mini beasts and made butterfly Hapazome pictures. A Japanese form of art, using flowers to create an impression on cotton. Jon will be back in term 6 to make Sm'ores with the children.

This week Jon, from Outdoor adventures joined us. We used magnifying glasses to look for mini beasts, made a ladybird from a wooden disk and read the book ' Superworm'. # moorland road

World book day is such a great opportunity to get children excited about reading - and spending their tokens at Oldfield Park Bookshop makes it even more special. -schools

Today we said good luck and goodbye to our children moving onto school. We are so proud of how our children have grown and developed ready for their next chapter. We had a great day with a playground disco, followed by a yummy pizza picnic and cake. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer, and look forward to new beginnings in September. Thank you to everyone who made today a very memorable day 🙂

Last week, we had our Leavers trips. We walked to Parade Gardens for a Picnic followed by a visit to The Real Italian Ice-cream shop.

This week we have taken some of our children to .bagels on Moorland road for a Baby Chinos and a bagel.
